Our Aims (Long-term Strategic Goals)

Primary Aims:

  • Create an Intellectual Bloc: Build a formidable coalition of thinkers and practitioners capable of influencing national policy direction
  • Dismantle Systemic Anomalies: Identify, expose, and dismantle structural barriers to development
  • Promote Evidence-Based Policymaking: Institutionalize research-driven policy formulation across all tiers of government
  • Mobilize Citizens: Foster active, informed citizen participation in democratic governance
  • Restore Institutional Trust: Rebuild public confidence in state institutions through transparency advocacy
  • Foster Meritocracy: Promote excellence and competence in public service appointments and operations

Secondary Aims:

  • Develop Alternative Narratives: Challenge mainstream discourses that rationalize underdevelopment
  • Mentor Future Leaders: Create a pipeline of patriotic, competent leaders for Nigeria
  • Build International Alliances: Partner with global think tanks and development institutions
  • Document Developmental History: Create comprehensive archives of Nigeria's policy experiments
Our Objectives (Specific, Measurable Actions)

Research & Knowledge Production:

  • Conduct quarterly high-impact research on critical national issues
  • Publish 4-6 policy briefs annually on urgent challenges
  • Produce 2-3 white papers yearly on systemic reforms
  • Maintain a publicly accessible digital repository of all publications
  • Collaborate with at least 3 universities annually on joint research

Policy Advocacy & Engagement:

  • Engage with minimum 50 legislators annually on policy reforms
  • Present testimony at minimum 10 legislative hearings per year
  • Organize quarterly roundtables with executive branch officials
  • Publish annual Governance Performance Report Card for all 36 states
  • Maintain active policy monitoring desk tracking implementation of 10-15 key policies

Public Enlightenment:

  • Host monthly public forums on pressing national issues
  • Publish weekly op-eds in major national newspapers
  • Organize quarterly roundtables with executive branch officials
  • Maintain active social media presence with daily policy commentary
  • Produce quarterly policy documentaries for broadcast
